MY STORY
I am Ram K.A.C., a theatre professional, educator, actor, director, playwright, and writer with over two decades of experience in Nepal’s theatre and arts community.
As the Founder Director and Vice President of Sadbhawa Theatre and the Central Vice-Chairperson of the Federation of Theatre Persons (FEPT) Nepal, I have worked to advance contemporary theatre while nurturing the next generation of artists. My leadership extends across various cultural organizations, publications, and initiatives that aim to strengthen Nepal’s artistic identity.
Over the years, I have written and directed numerous award-winning plays, collaborated internationally, and expanded my work into film, literature, and education. My journey is guided by a belief that theatre is not only a form of art but also a tool for empowerment, dialogue, and transformation.

Beginning as an Actor
Ram began his artistic journey as a theatre actor in 2005, starring in a variety of stage productions with social, political, and classical themes. This formative decade established his deep respect for the physical and emotional discipline of performance across various mediums.
Award-Winning Director
As a director, Ram's creative vision earned critical recognition when his production, Madhumalatiko Katha, won the Best Play award at the 5th National Children Theatre Festival. His vision has been honored at multiple national festivals for excellence in visual storytelling.
Theatre Leader & Strategist
Serving as the Central Vice-Chairperson of the Federation of Theatre Persons (FEPT) Nepal, Ram plays a pivotal role in institutionalizing theatre arts. He works tirelessly to create infrastructure and opportunities for the next generation of Nepalese creators.
Educator & Facilitator
